Do you believe in fate?
My life so far has been a mini episode of Sex in the City. At least it became clearer to me, the differences between understanding someone and accepting the person. Some people think that understanding equates to acceptance, but in reality they struggle to accept the way things are. They've failed to realise that what they deem as comprehensible doesn't quite equate that they can handle or accept it. The fact that I think in an unconventional way doesn't help me gain acceptance in this conservative society.
It's been an exciting journey so far, trying to figure out "what's my heart been telling me" yet it's never 100% certain. It's a bit of a mystery even I find it uncomprehensible at times. Such a mystery is often alluring, resulting in a potent mixture of inquisitiveness and adventuresome. Yes I agree, the saying goes,"Curiosity killed the cat." Sometimes I do get killed for asking "why" or "what if" too many a times. :) Life is therefore defined as a journey of infinite possibility. The concept of parallel universes then becomes a novelty of some sort. Try imagining a thousand different worlds, some with your existence, some without. Some which illustrates what you could have become, some which illustrates what you were. So for every decision which you make, there's another world in which you've made a different decision simultaneously. Can you even perceive this picture of you living over a thousand times? And if you had stepped out of all these dimensions, just like "God" in "The Matrix" you'll be watching a zillion televisions of yourself over and over again. Fascinating.
Which brings me back to another fundamental question. Where did we derive our conscience from? How did it become possible for us to even perceive or imagine things? How did the concept of foresight even entered into our mind? How is it even possible that we have 2 chromosomes lesser than our closest relatives? Unless we're an experiment of some sort, by a creator or a higher being, who's has been actively deploying genetic engineering. Typically cross breeding results in infertile and offsprings often suffer from genetic complications and tend to die young. If we were truly offsprings of a cross-breeding experiement, we wouldn't be function as well as what we are in our current state. Which is why, I simply do not agree with Darwin's theory of evolution. For a species to survive, it must already be created in a state which is fit for survival. Imagine veins without valves. If the first man had no valves in his heart or veins, he wouldn't have survived till this day because the backflow of blood would mean that organs did not receive the much needed oxygen. Hence man would not have been fit for survival.
Which brings me to the next unanswered question. Who created us? What is the purpose of our existence?
