Business Development class was spent listening to Dora Ho's life story.

She shared with us her dating life previously as a single.

Words of wisdom from her :

• Single guys after the age of 30 are only interested in getting girls into bed.
  
• Single women after the age of 30 starts developing weird personality quirks.
  
• You young girls should be careful and should start looking for Mr Right right now else when you start working and age, it'll be much harder for you girls to settle down.
  

And after that, she commented on some of the lecturers with vivid illustrations of their weird behaviours. (Those I shall not elaborate but it's up to your imagination.)

Having gotten married at the age of 39, she had her firstborn when she was 41.

It's interesting to hear a senior's opinion of single women and marriages. She was actually encouraging us to get married as early as the age of 25. Personally, she wanted to settle down at the age of 21 but due to parental objection, it didn't work out that way for her. (Her then boyfriend was a young dashing Caucasian, now doesn't that sound familar?) But she went one big round instead and got married to her church friend whom she knew since she was 18. Interestingly, she said that if she was given a second chance at marriage again, she would pick an Indian (Why? According to her perspective, Indians are good looking *Maybe her specs had filters and she can only see the good looking Indian guys*)

Weird taste I must say.

And someone in the class commented : Who doesn't want to settle down young? Just that haven't meet the right person.

Well, she spoke my mind.
